How Are My Grades?
As a means of providing feedback to first-year students early in their fall and spring semesters at Mercer, the Office of Academic and Advising Services collaborates with faculty members to provide progress reports four weeks into each semester and again at the mid-term of each semester.

A four-week progress report contains general evaluations from each of a first-year student's professors; faculty provide comments regarding class attendance, participation, grades (if any), and suggestions for improvement.  These early reports are an excellent way for a student and the student's advisor to monitor the student's academic progress!

At mid-term, any student who is experiencing academic difficulty receives a progress report from the student's professors.  This report is more detailed than a four-week evaluation; it contains specifics regarding a student's possible sources of academic difficulty, as well as suggestions for improvement.  A mid-term report may also include a faculty member's suggestion for a student to withdraw from a particular class.
