Congratulations, Georgia Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta! The new Mercer University chapter was officially chartered and its members inducted during a lovely ceremony at the Mercer University School of Medicine on April 30, 2011.

The Mentor Hour - get advice from upper classmen on any pre-health
track by visiting the "advice table" in the lobby of the Connell Student Center

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. The Society welcomes ALL students engaged in the pursuit of a professional healthcare career. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community.
Georgia Epsilon Chapter membership requires a 3.2 overall and science GPA along with the completion of at least three semesters (36 + credit hours) of preprofessional health work. At least one semester must have been completed at Mercer. Membership is formalized with the submission of your Membership Record Form (MRF) along with one-time national dues ($75) to the chapter, who forwards them to the National Office. Annual chapter dues of $20 must be paid to the chapter treasurer.
