Peer Advisor Program |
Peer Advisors (PAs) are the cornerstone of first-year programs at Mercer University. A PA is a resource, a mentor, a guide, a support, and friend to first-year students. A PA is a volunteer position, working with all orientation programs, including Summer Orientation, Move-In Day, Bear Beginnings, a UNV 101 or BUS 103 course, and Spring Orientation. They have the unique opportunity to interact with incoming students and their families throughout the summer and fall. The application process for PAs begins in January of each year. Check back for updates and to apply! |

Academic Advising Resources |
Our office coordinates academic advising for students around the Macon campus. For first-year students, the primary academic advisor is the instructor of an UNV 101 or BUS 103 course. Upperclass students are assigned an academic advisor in their major department. Students following in a pre-health track receive secondary advising out of our office related to their coursework and general preparation for entering professional school. |
