Welcome to Mercer! We are so excited you've decided to continue your education here with us! Summer Orientation provides you with the means for a successful beginning at Mercer. We know that coming into Mercer, you may have many questions and concerns. Our staff is always available to help. Should you have questions on that day, or before or after your arrival for orientation, please do not hesitate to contact us. Registration

Design
We have designed Summer Orientation for Transfers to be different from our first-year student programs. The program features meetings with the dean of your college or school, and then time for you to accomplish tasks. Each schedule features a checklist of items to accomplish, if applicable, before leaving campus. Offices are open until 5:00 p.m. EST.
At all times throughout the day, Orientation Headquarters will be open at the University Center. Should you require any assistance, or wonder where to go next, please stop by Orientation Headquarters. A staff member will be available to assist you.

Also, be sure to visit our Directions page, linked above, to find information and directions on getting to Mercer by plane or car. Local accommodation listings are also provided, with maps of their locations and links to reservation pages.
After your visit for Summer Orientation, be sure to come back for Transfer Welcome Day on Monday, August 23, 2010. This is the day before classes, and it provides you with an opportunity to connect with other transfer students, buy your books, and generally prepare before the first day of classes on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.
