Spring Orientation
for all new students beginning in the spring semester
A one-day session is held each January prior to the beginning of classes for all new students enrolling for the spring semester. This orientation is for both first-year and transfer students.
Spring Orientation Purpose:
- Meet with a faculty advisor to create spring schedule
- Interact with new classmates
- Meet student Peer Advisors who will provide valuable information and support
- Learn more about Mercer's many leadership and service opportunities, and
- Become better connected to the Mercer University community
Spring Orientation Registration:
Once a student has paid the enrollment deposit with the Office of Admissions, the student is sent a link via e-mail to complete the Orientation Registration Form. Contact your admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions with any additional questions.

Local Accommodations:
For information regarding travel to Mercer and local accommodations, please visit our Directions to Orientation page. The Hilton Garden Inn, conveniently located on campus, offers a special room rate for all incoming students and their families attending orientation. Arrival and Orientation Check-In:
Your day begins with check-in at the Connell Student Center. Upon your arrival to campus, please follow the orientation signage for parking locations. Our orientation staff in orange polos will direct you to the Connell Student Center.
