The Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) is an operating unit of Mercer University that provides a broad range of customer-oriented services to commercial and government clients. As a clinical adjunct to Mercer’s School of Engineering, MERC offers students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in a wide range of engineering fields including: management consulting, logistics consulting and analysis, systems engineering, structural and mechanical engineering, information technology consulting, software engineering and various areas of industrial process and equipment design.
