HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – Using a balanced offensive attack, the Mercer men’s basketball team outpaced Chicago State, 88-77, on the final day of action at the Chicago Invitational Challenge Saturday afternoon at the Sears Center.

MACON, Ga. - After starting the season off with four straight games on the road, Mercer opens its 2008-09 home schedule with a 2 p.m. matinee against High Point at the University Center on Saturday. The contest kicks off a three-match homestand for the Bears, and will be the Orange and Black’s final tune-up before conference foes USC Upstate and ETSU come to town next weekend.
