Student Outcomes
Upon completion of a program of study in criminal justice, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of how law enforcement, courts, and correction interact.
- Address fundamental questions concerning theories of criminal behavior.
- Describe the nature and extent of juvenile delinquency in contemporary society.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.
- Carry out a research project.
- Solve ethical dilemmas.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of psychopathology.
- Integrate a basic understanding of offender behavior in relation to interpersonal violence and other criminal behavior.

Grade Requirements:
A student seeking a major in Criminal Justice must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in the courses required in the major to qualify for graduation. A student may not have any grade lower than a "C'' in any course required for the major.
Criminal Justice majors will be expected to take an exit examination inf CRJS 498 during their senior year. This exam is for program assessment.
