Public Safety Leadership Institute
Public Safety Leadership Institute (PSLI)

A Unique Leadership Program for Public Safety Executives

In the new millennium, public safety professionals will be faced with scarce resources, political and public pressures, personnel issues, a rapidly changing environment, and an unpredictable future.  Being able to establish a vision, create a value system, open lines of communication, and foster collaboration and cooperation are essential characteristics of the next generation Public Safety Executives.

The Public Safety Leadership Institute (PSLI) at Mercer University is specifically designed to examine current leadership models and practices, and to create an awareness of the knowledge, skills and attributes of a successful leader in the public and safety environment.
