PASSPORT is an independent, nonprofit organization begun in 1993. It is the first Christian youth camp to combine a week of camp with a hands-on mission project.
Designed for 6th grade-12th grades students, participants spend a week on a college campus. These students and their church leaders get to know students from other churches through campus activities and worship. The unique feature of PASSPORT is that these students leave the campus for 3 hours each day to participate in local mission projects. Students do everything from painting the home of a senior citizen to leading day camp for kids with the local YWCA.
PASSPORT campers put in more than 60,000 hours of community service each summer – all in the name of Christ.
PASSPORT now hosts a children’s camp for 3rd through 6th graders called PASSPORTkids!. It too has a mission focus, which includes visiting missionaries from around the world and an exploration of the people who live in our global village.
