Office is located in the Religious Life Center.
We serve in churches in middle Georgia and throughout the state. Our summer camps, Passport, do mission projects with non-profit organizations in Bibb County.
Vision Statement
1. We exist to support Student Development as students discover God given talents and use them in service and ministry.
2. We desire to support churches of all denominations by offering the talents of students and the facilities of Mercer to strengthen their ministries to youth.
3. We want to put growing Christian young adults in front of prospective college students to serve a role models and as examples of the Mercer student body and the education that is available on this outstanding campus.
Facts About Mercer's Youth Programs:
- Began in the summer of 2007
- Hosted five youth and children’s Passport Camps with approximately 1250 students on campus in 2007.
- Seven camps scheduled for 2008
- National Youth Cue choir and orchestra camp scheduled in 2008 for training with Townsend School of Music faculty before international tour in South America.
- Two student ministries teams going out monthly to area Baptist churches to lead Wednesday night praise and worship, share testimonies and to lead in Bible studies.
