Academic Policies

Specific details regarding academic policies for graduate programs are available in the University Catalog.  Students are subject to the academic standards for the program in which they are in enrolled.  Failure to maintain the required GPA will result in a academic probation or dismissal.  Students may repeat a class only once in order to improve the grade in that class, and no student may repeat more than two classes in his/her program with Mercer.  A student may not retake an equivalent class at another college in order to replace a grade earned at Mercer.

All degree requirements must be completed within six years from the time of enrollment with Mercer.  Classes that are more than six years old cannot be applied to degree requirements.
