Mercer University’s Tift College of Education will begin offering programs in educational leadership in fall, 2008.  Candidates holding T-5 teaching certificates from the Professional Standards Commission will be eligible to apply for the add-on initial certification program in educational leadership.  This program is a three-semester, seven-course program that will lead to eligibility to apply for initial certification in educational leadership.  See the link to the Ed.S. flyer to find out how all seven of the courses can be counted toward an Ed.S. degree!

What and When?
Fall, 2008 – Add-on Initial Certification and the Ed.S. in Educational Leadership will be offered.
Fall, 2009 – Ph.D. in Educational Leadership is scheduled to begin!

Where?
Courses will be offered on the Memorial Health Hospital Campus.  Additional sites may be available through collaboration with local school systems.

Priority application deadline for Fall, 2008 is July 1.  Final application deadline is August 1.
