Nominations Being Accepted for the 2009 Cathryn Futral Excellence in Teaching Award

Have you had an excellent teacher in an education course during the 2008-2009 academic year that you would like to nominate for the Cathryn Futral Excellence in Teaching Award?

A teacher who:

                Challenged your thinking?

                Contributed to your professional development?

                Developed and used a variety of materials and resources?

                Was active in leading school-related projects?

                Facilitated your enthusiasm for teaching and learning?

                Used technology to support course objectives?

                Demonstrated creative teaching strategies?

Include your name and a brief paragraph to support your nomination that includes specific, concrete reasons for the nomination. Each candidate may nominate only one professor.

Unsigned nominations and/or nominations without an explanatory paragraph of support will not be accepted.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m.
