All Mercer alumni are encouraged to attend Homecoming 2008. The anniversary undergraduate classes of 2003, 1998, 1988, 1978 and 1968 are especially invited to relive Mercer THEN and enjoy Mercer NOW. On Friday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. enjoy an energizing pep rally and bonfire. On Saturday morning, participate in a Mercer Bear 5K Fun Run/Walk. After the run, have a delicious orange pancake breakfast followed by a climb up the old memory-laden tower of the Godsey Administration Building. Beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, Nov. 22, reunions -- coordinated by each individual anniversary class and special interest group --conduct on-their-own unstructured luncheons on and off campus. Prior to the big game, mingle with students, faculty and friends on the patio of the University Center and enjoy Fresh Air Barbecue--consistently voted Georgia's best. After the game is the big Homecoming Dance at the downtown Armory featuring The Grapevine -- all at a price you will look forward to paying. A separate invitation for each anniversary class, with event details, will be mailed at a later date. All alumni registered on the Mercer Online Community will receive periodic updates until the big day. Go Bears!!!
