Shorter Hall houses sophomore men and women by floor, in double, triple and quad - suite style accommodations. All suites have private baths shared by the residents of a suite. Shorter Hall received new carpet, tile, and paint during the summer of 2007. Amenities for the Shorter Hall include:

• Bear Card security access system
• Laundry facilities
• Snack machines
• Activity room (with television) and study lounges
• New furntiure from the Summer of 2006
• Cable TV
• Telephone service in each room is avilable through Mercer Telecommunications
• Network/internet ports in each room

Bedrooms - 12' x 15'
Windows - 66"w x 60"h (double windows)

There are also room in Shorter hall that have smaller dimensions, so the room dimensions listed above are for our standard double rooms in that hall.
