Anne Armstrong is an adjunct accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists in the Townsend School of Music.  She also serves as accompanist for the Mercer University Children's Preparatory Choir.  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Wesleyan College, where she studied with Edward Eikner.  In addition, she is Organist/Music Associate and Handbell director at First Baptist Church, Macon.  She is a past dean of the Macon chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She is also a published composer of about a hundred pieces for organ, piano, and handbells, including supplemental materials for the hymnal Celebrating Grace.
