"The Recreational Sports and Wellness department seeks to create an environment on campus that offers safe, diverse, and innovative programming in top notch facilities.  We offer five program areas consisting of aquatics, sport clubs, intramural sports, fitness/wellness, and outdoor adventures.  Our goal is to create programs that enhance student learning and leadership capabilities, which enhance the total educational experience.  Whether it's playing intramural flag football or going kayaking on the Nantahala or working out in one of the many group exercise classes, Recreational Sports and Wellness has something for everyone." - Michael Bond
