Julie Jones became a full-time faculty member in 2006. Her clinical practice expertise is in pediatric nursing, with a graduate degree focusing on the pediatric nurse practitioner role.  Her nursing doctoral degree (ND) focused on the clinical nurse specialist role; specifically case management of chronically ill children and children with special needs.  She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International (Pi Gamma Chapter) serving on the Research and Scholarship Committee.  She is the co-advisor to the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Honor Council.  Her research interests include pediatric allergy and asthma medication management as well as recruitment and retention of undergraduate nursing students.
