Ms. Iannazzone has most recently worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the anesthesia department at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and has been a member of the Children's Healthcare Community for 32 years.  She has continued to practice after joining the faculty at Mercer University in 2008.  She has experience as a nurse educator in both collegiate and clinical practice settings, worked in intensive care and post-anesthesia units in both staff nurse and administrative positions, and served as a nurse consultant reviewing pediatric malpractice cases and providing nurse expert testimony. Her areas of expertise/interest include post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients, quality assurance, and development of professional standards.  She is active in various community and volunteer activities with a health care focus.  Currently, her volunteer endeavors are widely noted in the Cystic Fibrosis patient population.
