- "Geology" – Introductory course that immerses students in the study of physical geology through lab and field studies.
- "Introduction to Environmental Science" – Foundational course in the major. A study of the interrelationships of Earth’s processes and human societies. Lab and field course.
- "Field Studies in Environmental Science" – A travel course in which students have studied the rainforests of Trinidad and the coral reefs of Belize.
- "Introduction to Geographic Information Systems" – Geospatial technologies are one of the most important emerging technologies worldwide. This course provides our introductory foundation.
- "Senior Seminar" – Our capstone course. Seniors work in interdisciplinary teams on a local environmental problem/issue not covered in the normal curriculum.
