"My Latin teacher, Achim Kopp, was a major influence on me. He inspired me to pursue the language further and teach it to others. After Mercer, I got a teaching certificate and now teach Distance Learning Latin for Floyd County schools in Rome, Ga. Since there's only one of me and four county schools, we have a television show-style format that involves everyone interacting both in person (when I'm at their particular school) and through the TV. All four schools are connected to each other, so everyone gets to participate and talk to each other. It's really been a unique experience."
