Learning Experiences Beyond the Classroom

"Therefore search and see if there is not some place where you may invest your humanity."  -  Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965)

Crossing Cultures, Changing Lives

Mercer On Mission is a global engagement initative that blends service-learning and study abroad in partnership with world Baptist service organizations in order to build community infrastructure and deliver relief assistance. During the summer of 2007, the program will send three teams of up to 20 students each to Kenya, Guatemala and Brazil. The five-week academic program, which is designed for undergraduate students on Mercer's Macon campus, will include two weeks of study on the campus and three weeks abroad.
