WHO: Forty-eight senior medical students at Mercer University School of Medicine
WHAT: will take part in the annual Match Day rite of passage — a nationwide event that serves to tell senior medical students what residency programs they will enter following graduation.
WHEN: Thursday, March 21, 2002, at noon
WHERE: Mercer University School of Medicine Auditorium, 1550 College Street, Macon.
WHY: Until Match Day, senior medical students are unsure of where they will spend the next few years as residents. At noon on March 21, medical students across the country will begin opening envelopes that contain their residency matches.
