The annual Holiday Open House at Mercer University's Woodruff House will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2 to Thursday, Dec. 4.
Many Macon area residents have made the event a family tradition. While each year is different, one thing remains the same: the Woodruff House is a stunning sight for all. Walking up the luminous path, visitors will be greeted by deans and alumni.
Among a host of ornaments and decorative lights will be a 12-foot Fraser Fur Christmas tree adorned with more than 500 hand-painted, decorated eggs. Students from Mercer's Music Department will perform. Participants will be invited to enjoy holiday cookies, hot apple cider and punch.
Don't miss this annual Christmas highlight of the holiday season in Macon. Bring the family and friends. It's free!
