Mercer University will once again bring its annual Homecoming Parade to the Macon community on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m.

This year's Homecoming theme, "Where in the World is Toby," has inspired each of Mercer's 25 student organizations to create floats representative of a different country. Local businesses, organizations and school marching bands are invited to participate in the international parade theme. And spectators are invited to travel the globe with the Mercer University mascot.

If you would like to enter your own float or march in the parade, please contact Kim Steele at 478-301-2692. Deadline for parade registration is Wednesday, Jan. 14.

The 2.0 mile parade route will begin on Bond Street in front of the Walter F. George School of Law and travel up Georgia Avenue, down College Street and onto the Mercer University campus.

For more information on the parade, contact Kim Steele at (478) 301-2692.
