Students to Sleep Outside to Raise Homelessness Awareness

WHO: Students in Mercer's Chapter of Habitat for Humanity

WHAT: In an effort to raise awareness about homelessness, Mercer students will build shelter out of boxes and sleep outside.

WHEN: From 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, to 8 a.m., Friday, Feb. 13

WHERE: "The Quad" behind the Administration Building on Mercer's Macon Campus.

BACKGROUND: Mercer's Habitat for Humanity Chapter is currently raising funds to build a house in Macon.
