ATLANTA — The English Language Institute of Mercer University will sponsor an International Fair from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, on the Atlanta campus, 3001 Mercer University Dr. The fair will showcase information on 21 countries that Mercer students call home, including the Republic of Korea, Colombia, Taiwan, and Venezuela.
"This is a great opportunity for members of the public and the Mercer community to learn about the many cultures that are represented on our campus," said Thomas Tyner, director of Mercer's English Language Institute.
In addition to informational displays, many students will dress in the clothing of their native countries, and some will perform their native dances and music. The fair is free and open to the public.
