WHO: Mercer University students will gather around the flag pole for a time of prayer. See You At The Pole is a student-led event that takes place at elementary, middle and high schools, and universities around the world.
WHAT: Students will begin with a worship song, followed by a time of group prayer for our country, state leaders, school leaders, professors, and fellow students at Mercer and worldwide. See You at the Pole brings together students of all ages, grade-levels, political beliefs and faiths.
WHEN: 7 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26
WHERE: The flag pole outside Roberts Hall, Mercer University’s Macon campus.
WHY: In 2006, more than 2 million teenagers met for See You at the Pole in all 50 states and reports came in from countries on six continents. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated and student-led movement that started in 1990. The event brings students to their school flagpoles to intercede for their leaders, schools, and families, asking God to bring moral and spiritual awakening to their campuses and countries.
