MACON — Quadworks, the Campus Activities Board of Mercer University, is now selling tickets for UC Live, which will feature three nationally known headliners. UC Live, which begins at 7 p.m. on April 12, will take place in the University Center Arena at Mercer’s historic Macon campus, and will feature national recording artists Cartel, Mario and Plain White T’s. Additional sponsors for this event are Cumulus radio station, Mercer University's Student Government Association, and the Eleventh Hour.

Tickets for the concert will be $18 for Mercer students with ID, $23 for military, high school and college students with ID, and $28 for the general public. Mercer student tickets will be available at the University Center Box office and other tickets can be purchased at
www.tickets.com or by visiting www.mercer.edu/quadworks .

Headliners Cartel, Mario and Plain White T’s are all known for their national and international hits. Each artist has seen success on Billboard charts and on music stations across the country.

Cartel
Hailing from Conyers, Ga., pop-punk band Cartel first achieved mainstream success when their debut album, Chroma, was listed on Alternative Press’s “Bands You Need to Know.” Chroma also landed Cartel on several independent music charts and on the Billboard 200. Following the success of their first album came the band’s self-titled album, Cartel. The album was created during MTV’s reality show, Band in a Bubble. Cartel was challenged to create a full-length album in only 20 days while being filmed inside of the bubble. The new album, Cartel, features the latest single, “Lose It.”

Mario
R&B and pop solo artist Mario has been making hit songs since the age of 15 when he released his debut album, Mario. His second album, Turning Point, sold 2 million copies, and his single “Let Me Love You” reached No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts. Turning Points also earned Mario two Billboard Music Awards and nominations for the Grammy and BET Awards. His most recent album, Go!, reached No. 4 on the R&B/Hip Hop Chart.

Plain White T’s
Pop-rock band Plain White T’s reached the height of success in the music industry with their No. 1 single, “Hey There Delilah.” Their album, "Every Second Counts," boasts not only a Grammy-nominated single, but a steady climb to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Pop 100, and Hot Digital Song Charts. The album reached No. 10 on the Billboard Albums chart.

All tickets for UC Live are reserved seating and a valid ID is required for purchase of and entry with discounted tickets. For more information on this event, call (478) 301-2874 or visit
