ATLANTA – Mercer University Executive Master of Business Administration student Hugh Rowden was recently appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Center for Real Estate Analytics Advisory Council for a two-year term. Rowden is the Atlanta-based senior vice president and regional servicing community and home preservation director for the southern region of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. He will graduate from Mercer’s EMBA program in spring 2012.
The Real Estate Advisory Council is composed of 12 appointed leaders who work with The Center for Real Estate Analytics. The center brings together subject experts and numerous data sources to provide useful information to their constituents — consumers, banks, academia, organizations and government — on myriad subjects related to real estate, finance, and the economy. Housed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Center for Real Estate Analytics provides information and research to highlight and define real estate activity within the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta district and the national landscape. Rowden was one of three new leaders entering the council this year.
“Because of my work in the Executive MBA program I am more confident and better prepared to participate in the advisory council. I look forward to working with its highly accomplished leaders from the private sector, public sector and academia.” Rowden said. “I am honored to be one of 12 leaders requested by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for an appointment on this council.”
