Mercer Sets New Enrollment Record

ATLANTA/MACON/SAVANNAH — For the sixth straight year, Mercer University has enrolled a record number of students. The University-wide student population is up slightly to 8,341 students this fall. The University enrolled an additional 313 students in non-credit programs, principally international students in its English Language Institute. The University also enrolled the largest-ever incoming undergraduate class on its Macon campus with 766 entering freshmen and transfer students in the fall.

Mercer is affiliated with four teaching hospitals — Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, and The Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. The University also has educational partnerships with Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex in Warner Robins and Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta. It operates an academic press and a performing arts center in Macon and an engineering research center in Warner Robins.
