Mercer's last second victory over Stetson on Friday night at the University Center was rated the number two sports highlight in the nation for last week. With the Bears trailing by three points, senior James Odoms was fouled attempting a three-point shot with two seconds remaining. He hit his first two free throws, missed the third but retrieved his own rebound and made a shot from the floor as the horn sounded for the Bears' win. The win propelled Mercer into the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament and eliminated the Hatters from post season.
