The 1948 graduating class of the Walter F. George School of Law will be honored during 2008 Law Day and Alumni Weekend activities March 7-8. United States Rep. Jim Marshall, from Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District and former professor at the Law School, will deliver the keynote address at the Law Day Luncheon, giving special recognition to the class of 1948.

The Law Day Luncheon will be held Friday, March 7, 12:30 p.m., at the University Center Arena.

A reception will be held later that day, 5:30-7 p.m., at Macon City Club. The reception is for Law School alumni, friends, faculty, Alumni Board of Directors and Board of Visitors. Law School classes of 1968, 1983 and 2003 will also hold separate reunions on Saturday, March 8.
