Officials from Sierra Development, Piedmont Construction Group LLC and Mercer will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the $10 million mixed-use Lofts at Mercer Village development on Thursday, April 22, at 3 p.m. The event will be held at the construction site located on Montpelier Avenue, across from Mercer Village.
The retailers who will occupy the 13,750 square-foot first floor will also be announced at the event. The top three floors will house up to 117 students in three- and four-bedroom, loft-style apartments. Construction is slated to be complete by December 2010.
