Mercer is gearing up for another exciting year, with classes beginning the week of Aug. 24 and more than 600 freshmen expected on the Macon campus for the annual move-in day and associated celebrations on Aug. 22.
Orientations have already begun for a number of the professional schools, including nursing and law, while white coat ceremonies for first-year medical and pharmacy students begin this weekend.
On the Macon campus, freshmen will move into their residence halls from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 22, Macon campus faculty, staff and upperclassmen will be on hand to assist in the effort. Upperclassmen will move in on Friday, Aug. 21, and Sunday, Aug. 23.
Students at the Regional Academic Centers, the Atlanta campus, the School of Medicine and the Law School begin on Monday, Aug. 24, and classes begin for undergraduates on the Macon campus on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
