LAST MINUTE NEWS: PRISM Magazine Ranks Engineering School No. 3 in Percent of Female Graduates

The October edition of PRISM, the American Society for Engineering Education's magazine, ranked the School of Engineering No. 3 in the United States for awarding the highest percentage of engineering bachelor's degrees to women. Mercer's ranking was based on the number of women who graduated with an engineering degree during the 2005-2006 academic year. Of that class year, 36.6 percent of the School's graduates were women. The data is compiled by the American Society for Engineering Education from a pool of 261 schools that awarded 50 or more bachelor of science degrees. The next issue of News@Mercer will offer the full story.
