President Receives Key to the City of Fort Myers at Alumni Reception
 More than 40 Mercer alumni and friends from the Fort Myers, Fla., area attended a dinner prior to the men’s basketball game on Jan. 17 against Florida Gulf Coast University. Fort Myers Mayor Jim Humphrey, BA’63, LLB’65, presented Mercer President William D. Underwood with a key to the city. The Bears were victorious, 99-77, over the Eagles.
