Tony Moye, a 1973 graduate of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a member of the Mercer Board of Trustees, will be appearing in doctors’ offices across the nation this spring to talk about allergy medications. He was interviewed by CNN on Feb. 25 at his John Frank Ward Boulevard pharmacy location in McDonough for an upcoming segment on AccentHealth.
AccentHealth is an exclusive television network broadcast to doctors’ waiting rooms nationwide, with health information programming from CNN designed specifically to engage, entertain and education patients while they wait to see a doctor. Some 11.7 million consumers in 11,200 doctors’ waiting rooms nationwide each month view the AccentHealth programs. A spokesperson for CNN said the feature might also be posted online at CNN.com/health.
Hosted by CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Robin Meade, the program features a wide range of healthy lifestyle topics – everything from diet and exercise to disease prevention – and useful news on the latest health breakthroughs.
Moye is pharmacist and owner of Moye’s Pharmacy, with three locations in McDonough and one each in Stockbridge, Locust Grove, Jodeco and Hampton.
