Now Mobile

The University has launched a mobile-browser supported web site, Dubbed Mercer Mobile, the site delivers content, services, and features that allow you to access and interact with the University on the go. The site works with iPhone, Blackberry, Android and other smartphones to provide access to information on University news and events, athletics news, updates from the Grand Opera House, the Trolley Tracker and more, all immediately available to you at anytime.

To use Mercer Mobile, navigate to on your device's mobile browser. You will need a web-enabled phone or device such as an iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows, or other smartphone, as well as a data plan from your wireless carrier, or a WiFi connection.

Summer Trips Help Haiti

This summer, four teams of Mercerians traveled to Haiti to help its citizens recover from the devastating earthquake that struck the country on Jan. 12. The earthquake crippled the country, killing more than 300,000 people and injuring thousands more. [more]

U.S. News Again Ranks Mercer Among Top 10 Schools in the South

For the 12th consecutive year, Mercer has made the Top 10 in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of comprehensive universities in the South.  Mercer was again ranked No. 8 in the South in the 2010 “Best Regional Universities” category. Service First Program Dispatches 16 Mercer Students Around the World

Sixteen Mercer graduates have taken advantage of a new program, Service First, which helps match recent Mercer graduates with international service opportunities. Freshmen Set World Record for Largest Game of Tag

Classes haven’t even begun, but freshmen at Mercer already have a memory to last a lifetime. Students and advisers from the first-year class set the world record Saturday for the largest game of tag. Be the Bear - University Launches Branding Campaign

Mercer this month launched a major branding campaign designed to raise the level of awareness of the University among prospective students and parents and further engage alumni and friends in supporting the institution.
