BSN Degree
The undergraduate program is comprised of two tracks, both culminating in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and preparing graduates to continue their education at the master's level. Which track a student pursues is determined by her or his previous academic preparation.
  1. Generic Track - This program of study is for the student who is not a registered nurse and who is pursuing education to become a registered nurse. Satisfactory completion of the generic track entitles the graduate to take the National Council Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX-RN) and, with a successful exam score, to become a registered nurse prepared for general practice in hospitals, community agencies, and other health care environments.
  2. The RN-BSN Advanced Track is for the registered nurse who has graduated from an accredited associate degree or diploma nursing program, who has successfully completed the National Council Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX-RN), and who is currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of Georgia.  Successful completion of the RN-BSN Advanced Track awards the graduate with an earned Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree.
