High School Students

The College will no longer accept Freshman students to the Mercer-Atlanta campus for the nursing program.  Interested high school students are strongly encouraged to complete their Freshman and Sophomore years at Mercer University-Macon Campus.  Students may apply for admission to Georgia Baptist College of Nursing during their Sophomore year at Mercer-Macon.  Following acceptance, students would transfer from the Macon campus to the Atlanta campus for Junior and Senior year nursing coursework.  Preference for transfer student admission is given to Mercer University students who meet all admission criteria.

Pre Nursing at Mercer University in Macon
Pre-Nursing is offered on the Mercer University campus in Macon.  Students interested in completing core classes at the Macon campus may submit an application for admission to Georgia Baptist College of Nursing (no fee required for Mercer University students in pre-nursing), along with Nursing Entrance Test (NET) scores, to be considered for admission to the nursing sequence.  Pre-nursing students who maintain a 2.5 grade point average at Mercer University in the prerequisite courses for nursing and achieve the required Nursing Entrance Test (NET) scores will be offered places in the nursing sequence.  All documents must be submitted by the admission deadline.
