Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University requires all applicants, excluding those who hold the registered nursing license (RN), to submit scores from the Nursing Entrance Test (NET).  Applicants transferring from Mercer University in Macon, international students, and students with prior non-nursing degrees are required to submit a NET score.

• The NET is a test of math skills and reading comprehension and is a two and a half hour exam.  The test will be offered at the College of Nursing building on the Mercer University campus in Atlanta.  Details regarding registration for the NET are provided to students once the application has been submitted to the Admissions Office.  Click here for a map to the campus.
• Georgia Batptist College of Nursing permits students to attempt the NET two times per academic year to meet the required score.  Review guides are available from Educational Resources, Inc.  Visit the ERI website for details as pre-registration is required for all testing.
• At Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, the NET score will be utilized in conjunction with the evaluation of transfer, cumulative, and science grade point averages in evaluation of applications.  Other factors, including the essay, community involvement, as well as any clinical experiences and volunteer experiences will be continue to be considered in selection of applicants for admission. 
• Students who have taken the NET at another college of nursing or at another institution may submit scores from another site, provided the scores are in a sealed, stamped "letterhead" envelope with a signature of an official at the institution or a seal from the university across the flap of the envelope.

A web based online registration system has been implemented so that students can now register 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  Registration can be accessed by navigating to http://eriworld.com/NET, or simply click here.  Students can also register by calling the Customer Service Team at (800) 299-EXAM.  Be prepared to provide the following information:

• Name
• Address
• College where results should be sent
• Social security number
• Credit card number for the test charge of $40.00. (There will be a late fee of $10 if a student does not meet a 14 day deadline.)

The NET will be offered on the Mercer University Atlanta campus on the following Saturdays:
