Ms. Davis received her BSN degree from Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA and her MS degree, with an adult health and gerontology focus, from Georgia State University.  She has had several years experience as a staff nurse, preceptor, charge nurse, and nurse administrator. Ms. Davis has participated in the development of nursing care standards, practice guidelines, and staff education.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing.  Her area of interest is health promotion and disease prevention.
