Ms. Garrett has specialized in adult health nursing with a subspecialty in oncology and hematology.  She has worked as a staff nurse, short stay surgery, critical care clinical nurse specialist, consultant, and an educator in a number of health care institutions.  Her areas of expertise/interest include ethics, end-of-life issues in critical care units, acute and critical care nursing, and preceptor/nurse reentry programs.
