NUR 420 Leadership Practicum and Role Transition
Dr. Rayburn serves as a prenatal nursing consultant in the areas of prenatal case review/expert witness and prenatal nursing department administration/management. Her research interests include high-risk pregnancy nursing care outcomes, adolescent pregnancy, and teaching strategies for undergraduate and graduate education.
During her career, Dr. Rayburn has been an active participant in the Georgia Nurses Association, Georgia Chapter of AWHONN, and the Pi Gamma and Epsilon Alpha Chapters of Sigma Theta Tau International. In 2003 she was named the College of Nursing Faculty Member of the Year and received the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University Distinguished Alumna Award.
