Honesty, integrity, and high ethical standards are central to the purpose of educating students to take their place within society, as well as within the profession of nursing. The College community voted in 1993 to establish an all inclusive Honor System that would empower students to take personal responsiblity for their behavior.
The Honor System, in its entirety, had its inaguration during the 1995 - 1996 academic year. This system, which is unique for college campuses today, is governed by students. In order for such a system to succeed, each student at the College of Nursing must be committed to upholding the high standards that are inherent in our Honor System, which includes a student's obligation to report violations of the honor code. |
