Assist with Community Screening
The 4th Annual Stop Osteoporosis special train ride, hosted by the Georgia Commission on Women and the Georgia Osteoporosis Initiative, was held Saturday, September 24, 2005, on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Nursing students from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University assisted with free health screenings that included bone density screening for osteoporosis, blood pressure tests, dental health and diabetes testing.
