OUR MISSION
Mercer University strives to make the Study Abroad experience more than just living and traveling abroad while satisfying academic credit. We view study abroad as a hands-on educational experience in which you, the student, are given the opportunity to open the doors of the traditional classroom to the world-at-large and challenge your perceptions of both the world and your “self.” We strive to equip you with the tools necessary to communicate, work and live in the global economies of today and tomorrow. About the Programs
At Mercer, we offer a wide variety of study abroad opportunities all over the world in order to meet the diverse needs of our student body. Students can study independently with a semester- or year-long program, explore with a group of Mercer students while taking advantage of the professionalism and expertise of Mercer faculty through a faculty-led program, or contribute to worldwide community service while earning academic credit through one of our Mercer on Mission programs. And for those students who prefer a more independent experience but who don't want to miss out on what's happening on campus, summer programs are also available.
