Instructions for Online Registration
NOTE: All students should seek advisement before registering. Failure to consult an advisor before registering could severely jeopardize your academic career and/or degree progress.
1. Go to Mercer's website at http://www.mercer.edu
2. On the left side of the screen, click on 'Current Students', then 'General Resources', then 'BearPort', then on 'Log into my account'.
3. Log in at the bottom, left of the BearPort screen. Enter your student ID number and your PIN.
4. Click on 'Select Term', then click on the appropriate term. Click on 'Drop and Add classes.' On the next screen simply 'Click here to continue'.
5. Click on the 'Course Sections' option to identify the area of study and courses for which you want to register or refer to the call numbers printed in the class schedules listed on this same web site.
6. Click on each course to identify the Call Number. Then click on the call number to register for that course.
7. For each additional course, scroll down and click on 'Course Sections' and repeat step 6.
Important Things to Consider:
1. If you are on 'Hold' for any reason, you will not be able to access the Registration Module.
2. The system will not allow registration for certain courses without completion of the appropriate prerequisites. Check the Catalog at www.mercer.edu/registrar/catalog, or seek advisement.
Hours of Availability:
Online registration will begin at 10am the first day. After that, the system will be available from 8:30 am – 11:00pm until the term begins (with the exception of Wednesdays from 9am - 12pm.) |
